The vast majority of home sellers (88%) choose to list their homes on the MLS®, and 89% work with a real estate agent, according to a recent report from the National Association of REALTORS®.
Why? The answer lies in visibility.
Putting a property on the MLS® reaches a greater audience of buyers and real estate professionals. That heightened attention means that on-MLS® homes are likely to receive more competitive offers.
A Bright MLS® Study, which analyzed homes sold between 2019 and Q1 2023, showed that homes listed on the MLS® sold for 17.5% more than comparable homes not listed on the MLS.
Of course, every seller has different needs. No matter the situation, there’s a solution.
