Relay For Life is a community fundraising event where Canadians across the country join together in the fight against cancer. In 2014, nearly 400 Relays took place across Canada.
Relay participants walk or run together around a track or path at a local school, park or fairground, passing a baton to their fellow participants and working together toward one common goal – the fight against cancer.
Patti and Wendy’s team name is “Beach Babes”. Note that this is the team’s second year participating in the Relay. Their team has doubled in size in 2016.
To date, “Beach Babes” has raised $1,110 which is currently 3rd place for Norfolk County.
“Beach Babes” walk June 17th at Holy Trinity track in Simcoe from 7PM to 1AM.
